Custom Happy Birthday Backdrop Decal | Party Text

This made-to-order Happy Birthday backdrop decal is cut from solid-color adhesive vinyl using the name, age, date or short party message you provide. The finished lettering has no printed rectangular background, so the backdrop surface remains visible around and between the characters. It is intended for compatible smooth backdrop panels and signs behind a balloon arch. It is not a balloon set, freestanding sign, rigid board, painted service or digital file.

How to personalize the decal

After ordering, provide:

• the final wording exactly as it should appear;
• capitalization, punctuation, age, date and line breaks;
• the preferred font name or a clear style reference;
• the vinyl color;
• the required orientation and maximum finished width and height;
• whether a proof is required before production.

If no font is supplied, the existing default is Georgia. Check every character before production. Decords reproduces the wording submitted with the order.

How the square size option works

The sixteen options range from 16 × 16 to 150 × 150 inches. The selected square describes the maximum composition area available for the complete text layout. It does not describe the height of one letter and does not require the finished lettering to be square.

Long phrases, several lines and wide fonts reduce the resulting letter height inside the same area. Very thin strokes, narrow gaps and small decorative details can require simplification. Send exact maximum dimensions when the layout must fit a specific panel.

Large lettering and sections

Large layouts can be supplied in accurately aligned sections because of production and shipping limits. Dry-position the complete composition before applying the first section. Joins between separately produced text groups can remain visible at close range.

Measure the backdrop

Measure the usable flat area and exclude frames, panel joins, supports, holes, handles, hinges, lighting, existing graphics and strongly curved edges. This decal is designed for the solid backdrop panel, not for direct application to balloons or fabric draping.

Compatible surfaces

Apply only to a clean, dry, smooth and stable surface such as compatible acrylic, glass, sealed painted board, smooth plastic or another tested hard backdrop. Raw wood, fabric, textured paint, dust, wax, silicone, peeling coating and some low-energy plastics can reduce adhesion. Test a discreet area when the finish is uncertain.

Application

1. Clean the backdrop using a residue-free method and let it dry fully.
2. Mark a level centre line and the outer composition boundary.
3. Dry-position the complete wording and all separate lines.
4. Use the supplied transfer layer where required and apply gradually without stretching the vinyl.
5. Press every character firmly before removing the transfer layer.
6. Inspect spelling, alignment and spacing from the intended photo distance.

What is included

One custom cut-vinyl text composition in the approved size, wording, font and color, with transfer material and application instructions where required. The backdrop, balloon arch, balloons, stand, lighting and installation tools are not included.

Care, removal and custom-order terms

Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid solvents, abrasive cleaners and repeated rubbing at letter edges. Remove slowly at a low angle. The decal is made to the supplied wording and dimensions, so verify all personalization before production. Reuse, residue-free removal and damage-free removal cannot be guaranteed for every backdrop finish.
