Create a large visual change with self-adhesive wall coverings, murals, patterns, and feature-wall graphics. This collection helps you compare relevant formats and choose a product for the actual surface, size, and viewing distance.

How to choose Vinyl Wallpapers / Adhesive Wallpaper Decals

Start with the installation location. Measure the usable area, note obstacles and edges, and compare those measurements with the size shown on the individual product page. Product construction can vary within a collection, so check whether the selected item is printed, die-cut, supplied in panels, intended for glass, or made for another specific surface.

Project	What to check
Feature wall	Measure width and height in several places and allow for trimming where the product instructions require it.
Small accent area	Use a sample or smaller section to verify scale and color in the room.
Textured or recently painted wall	Test first; adhesion depends on paint, texture, cleanliness, and curing time.
Multi-panel mural	Plan panel order and alignment before removing the backing.

Size and placement

Measure the area that will remain visible after furniture, frames, handles, seals, equipment, or other objects are considered. Use masking tape to mark the planned width and height. View the outline from the normal distance before choosing a size. A design needs enough surrounding space to remain readable; the largest available size is not automatically the best fit.

Surface compatibility

Apply only to a clean, dry, smooth surface that is compatible with the material stated on the product page. Dust, grease, moisture, texture, weak paint, fresh paint, silicone coatings, and low-energy plastics can reduce adhesion. Test an inconspicuous area when the finish is delicate or uncertain. Material behavior and removal results depend on the product, surface condition, installation time, and environment.

How this option compares

Adhesive wallpaper creates broad coverage; wall decals add isolated graphics; paint gives a uniform finish; traditional wallpaper uses a different installation system.

Option	Best suited to	Main planning point
Sticker or decal	A defined graphic or message	Surface compatibility and exact size
Poster or sign	A movable display	Mounting method and available space
Wallpaper or paint	Broad background coverage	Preparation, alignment, and permanence

Frequently asked questions

Can I order a custom size?

Custom options depend on the product. Contact Decords with the required width, height, surface, and artwork before ordering.

Will it work on a textured surface?

Smooth surfaces generally give more predictable adhesion. Test textured, porous, coated, or uncertain finishes first.

Can it be removed without marks?

No universal result can be guaranteed. Removal depends on the adhesive, paint or coating, surface condition, installation period, and technique.

Is every item suitable for outdoor use?

No. Use outdoors only when the individual product information confirms the relevant material and application.

Can I reuse the sticker?

Do not assume reuse unless the specific product explicitly states that it is reusable.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the visible installation area, mark the proposed dimensions with tape, and check the outline from the normal viewing distance.

How long does production and delivery take?

Decords produces orders, normally within 1–3 working days. Free international shipping is available; delivery time depends on destination and the shipping option shown at checkout.
