Care and installation requirements depend on the material and intended surface. Follow the product description and the instructions supplied with the order.
Before application:
- Use a clean, dry, stable and fully cured surface.
- Follow the paint manufacturer’s curing time. Paint that feels dry may not be fully cured.
- Test a small, discreet area when surface compatibility is uncertain.
Installation and cleaning:
- Apply without stretching the material and smooth it gradually.
- Some products can be repositioned during installation. This does not mean they can be stored and reused later.
- Use a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth only when the product instructions allow it. Avoid abrasive tools and strong solvents.
Removal:
- Lift an edge and peel slowly at a low angle.
- Use moderate warmth only when the product instructions allow it.
- Stop if paint, wallpaper or the underlying finish begins to lift.
Residue-free or damage-free removal cannot be guaranteed for every material, paint system or surface condition.

Display your own logo, illustration or text directly on a suitable smooth wall. This personalized vinyl decal is printed with eco-solvent inks and contour cut around your supplied design, making it an option for office branding, reception areas, studios, home offices and individual interior projects.
Contour-cut, background-free appearance
The unwanted outer area around the artwork is removed from the layout rather than printed as a large white or colored rectangle. This does not automatically mean the vinyl material is transparent. Clear artwork boundaries give better background-removal results; blurred edges, photographic backgrounds and tiny isolated details may require a simplified or connected cutting layout. Your order uses your supplied artwork, not the example designs in the listing.
Measure before ordering
Size options show width x height in inches. For non-square artwork, multiple elements or an exact wall layout, contact Decords before ordering so the dimensions, proportions and price can be confirmed. If the smaller dimension of the decal exceeds 22 inches, it is supplied in multiple sections. Large layouts need enough clear wall space for the whole composition, not only its central logo.
Artwork and order instructions
After checkout, send your order number, file and required dimensions to info@decords.com. Preferred formats are AI, EPS, PDF and SVG, with text converted to outlines. High-quality PNG and JPG files can also be assessed; approximately 300 dpi at the intended print size is recommended for raster artwork. We will contact you before production if resolution or cutting details need adjustment.
Color and wall suitability
Supply CMYK values or a color reference when brand colors matter. Screen previews and physical prints can differ; discuss critical matching before ordering. Apply to a clean, dry, smooth surface after fresh paint has fully cured according to its manufacturer's instructions. Peeling, rough, dusty or delicate finishes need a suitability check; damage-free removal is not guaranteed for every paint or wall.
